Why we're building in
Crewe
We are working with local authorities to improve broadband in Crewe, using UPRN-level planning so each property can be shown the most appropriate service available.
Crewe has been identified from voucher-eligible premises data. Our aim is to use existing infrastructure through PIA wherever possible and avoid unnecessary civil engineering costs.

Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme
The Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme (GBVS) is part of Project Gigabit, the government’s programme to roll out fast, reliable broadband to homes and businesses that are not included in suppliers’ commercial plans. We're apart of this voucher scheme.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is full fibre planned for Crewe?
Yes, Crewe is included in our voucher-eligible planning data. Availability is checked at address/UPRN level because not every property in the wider area will have the same build route.
What speed will fibre customers receive?
Our fibre product is planned as 1Gb symmetrical, meaning up to 1Gb download and up to 1Gb upload over XGS-PON full fibre.
What if my property is remote or on a farm?
Where fibre is not practical at day one, we may be able to offer wireless broadband subject to a line-of-sight and installation survey.
How do I help the project move forward?
Use the address checker and register your interest. Strong local demand helps with planning, voucher engagement and build prioritisation.
